Butterflies #Inspiration
Following on
from the print inspiration it is pretty expected that when spring and summer
come around one of the staple big trends is floral. It is no surprise really
but while having a browse at the big prints for this season I have noticed that
butterflies and all sorts of other birds and bugs have been making a big
appearance too. Apparently butterflies are set to be the theme of the season
and they are everywhere.

Designers
like Alexander McQueen and Marc Jacobs have been incorporating the butterfly
design on the catwalk and since I don’t think I’ll be investing in a designer
piece anytime soon I took a bit of inspiration from their collections and had a
look at what is on the high street at the moment too.
Butterflies
are such a sweet and whimsical pattern and perfect for summer in my opinion. What
do you think to the butterfly pieces out at the moment? Is it soon to be a
summer staple or a little too girly for some?

It's been a while #LookBookMonday
Under a month and I will have finished university for this academic year, I'll be heading to Ibiza and ready for the summer, if only I could get this work out of the way quicker! I have that excited feeling like it's all going to come together soon, but need to not get distracted by those holiday thoughts. What's distracting you at the moment and where are all my dolls heading this summer?

If I actually had a boyfriend, i'd probably make him dress like this, not going to lie - pretty cool #hipsterchic
Not quite sure if I actually like the outfit, or got a little jealous over the hair?
I like her hat . . . it pleases me. Spitalfields market has some great hats at the moment, you should pop over and have a look if you like hats like me.

I need a great prom dress. . .
It's that time of year again, summer is nearly here, exams an in the midst or have begun, but all I can really think about is my forth coming holiday and of course Prom. This time two years ago, was my secondary school leavers ball, aka Prom. It was a time of goodbyes and a time to start afresh with university just around the corner. Obviously, my main concern at the time wasn't if i'd passed or failed my exams, but what I should wear to such a BIG event. I decided on an Alice & Olivia puff ball dress, which admittedly, I haven't worn since. Now, I look forward to my university summer prom and those great summer evenings which call for a fabulous dress, here is a great range of prom dress by New Look that I just love.
