The first KARL LAGERFELD Paris collection for men instantly proclaims
its identity with high collars, white shirts, slim trousers and fitted jackets
for a neat, smart look. Everything is in its rightful place here: the military
greatcoat, the suit with a line of topstitching right across the top, the
sweater lined with a faux shirt, the merino cardigan with the raw-edge front
panel. Essential pieces underscore the look: a pea coat with double flap
pockets placed back to back, aged and distressed denim with half a tuxedo
stripe in metallic grey, a shirt warmed up with a removable knitted collar or
striped with a pleated bib and sculpted like marquetry, trousers in lacquered
wool or fastened with a belt bearing chunky rivets.
A line of press studs provides a unifying motif, extending across a
sweater and a wool jacket, over a suede shirt and the hips of slim trousers.
This bold detailing is mirrored in the double pockets on the women’s skirts and
shirts.
As with the zip-up version for women, miniature KL logos are aligned on
a fine cardigan, while the leather and knitted jacket in the women’s collection
is matching with a mottled wool jacket with a chunky knitted front for men.
This highly charged look injects a daring, youthful energy into a
fiercely elegant collection.
I personally feel like accessories are the way to go this christmas. Traditionally your faced with a amount of socks filling your stockings, but why not fill your loved ones with these below item?
