Look of the week: Mark & Julia

Mark & Julia is a label that was founded early last year and it's first collection, Trigonomia,  quickly followed in the spring. It's use of masculine, harsh cuts and composition create a dramatic and very likeable collection. 


The two designers behind this brand met a fashion school and become close over the many years, eventually deciding to go into partnership. 
In my eyes their first collection holds nothing on 'Bound' (S/S '12). The use of neutral colours, cut outs and buckles establish an edgey, yet sophisticated twist.
